Rosnay broke the World Speedsailing 500 meters, women’s windsurfing record seven times. She first broke it at the speed Trials in Weymouth off the Isle of Portland in the United Kingdom. She was inducted into the Speedsailing Hall of Fame in 2010.

She began designing swimwear for Huit and later did wetsuits for Neil Pryde. Her designing career began in 1988.

Jenna has been married twice. She was initially married by Arnauld Louis Fromet de Rosnay in 1981 but he passed on in 1984. Arnauld was a French playboy, photographer, and long-distance windsurfer who was the youngest son of French-Mauritian painter Gaëtan de Rosnay and his wife, the former Natacha Koltchine.

Arnaud disappeared at sea while attempting to windsurf from China to Taiwan in 1984. The couple had one daughter, Alizé de Rosnay (born 1984), an artist and designer who helps run a family-owned art gallery Puka Puka in Paia, Maui, Hawaii.

She later remarried Emmanuel De Buretel who is a recording executive and the founder of
Because Music. He was also the former chairman and CEO of EMI Recorded Music Continental Europe. The couple has three daughters.
