In march 2020, she joined fox 5 crew after moving from Austin Texas. Where she anchored as the morning news reporter on Good day Austin at fox 7 for three years. Though living in longhorn country was tough for her, she is a proud trojan but still bitter over the 2005 National Championship loss to Texas.
Sarkissian has reported on many national stories such as deadly bombing, that terrorized the city for almost three weeks. While in Austin in March 2018, she further, reported on shooting of church in Sutherland springs that killed 26 people and covered the horrific aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.
Prior to coming to the Capital city, she was a reporter at CBS affiliate in Tyler, Texas. She always thought of Tyler as the states secret gem, since its much different than the big city she was used. Sarkissian covered the deadly tornado in van, Texas and the Dallas police shooting killing that killed five officers in July 2016, during her time.

Her most memorable time on TV was probably performing live on Good Day Austin with few of the best dancers from Dancing with the Stars for their big grand opening of their newest dance studio.
