Johnson’s memoir entitled believing in Magic became so popular where she explained the moment when her husband, Magic Johnson gave her a chance to leave him after being diagnosed with HIV. Cookie replied “Are you kidding me? No. I love you. I’m gonna stay here and help you live. I’m gonna stay here and we’re gonna beat this thing. We’re gonna figure out how to beat this thing” This shows how deep love she has for her spouse.
