Brandon born in Detroit, Michigan, moved to Los Angeles after high school and started pursuing a career in comedy. He was discovered at the Laugh Factory by a talent scout who helped him score a lead role in Roll Bounce (2005), a skating flick starring rapper Bow WoW

He was also a cast member on the show Wild ‘N Out with Nick Cannon, and then guest-starred as a celebrity team captain for the sixth season for the show. Jackson starred in the films Tropic Thunder as Alpa Chino, Percy Jackson as Grover Underwood and Lottery Ticket as Benny.  He also played 17-year-old Trent Pierce in Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son (the sequel to Big Momma’s House 2). Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son (also known as Big Momma’s House 3) is an American action comedy film from 2011 and the third and final installment in the Big Momma trilogy, a sequel to Big Momma’s House from 2000 and Big Momma’s House 2 from 2006. John Whitesell directed the film and starred Martin Lawrence in his role as FBI agent Malcolm Turner. Jascha Washington declined from the original film to replace his role as Trent Pierce, and Brandon T.
