Andrew Wyatt Biography
Andrew Wyatt, born Andrew Wyatt Blakemore, is an American musician, songwriter and record producer. His most recent work is in the Swedish electronic pop band, Miike Snow. Over his career, he has worked with such bands as Black Beetle and The A.M. He has worked extensively with other artists like Liam Gallagher, Lady Gaga, Lorde, Bruno Mars, and others.
He grew up in on Perry Street, Manhattan in the ’80s. He and Greg Kurstin created the pop band Funkraphiliacs when he was just 18 years old. In those times, he was signed to Capitol Records as a solo artist. He spent a year in Bath, the UK working on making an album at Peter Gabriel’s Real World studios.
His time in Bath ended after he was hospitalized at the Payne Whitney Psychiatric Clinic in New York for chemical dependency and psychological issues. After recuperating, he moved to Colorado for many years. During this time, he joined the University of Colorado for some time

Andrew Wyatt Career
He started the group, The A.M. with Michael Tighe and Parker Kindred. Together, they released one album until 2005, when they disbanded. Most recently, he’s been a lead singer and co-songwriter for the Miike Snow band. Apart from his own, he has also participated in writing and/or producing songs for other artists like Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars, Carl Barat, Tiggers, Coco Sumner and Dragons Of Zynth.
In the band Miike Snow, they have released Thieves in 2007, Record Collection in 2010, Happy to You in 2012, and Descender in 2013. In 2011, he co-wrote Bruno Mars’ song, Grenade, which earned a Grammy nomination for song of the year. He released his first solo album in April 2013 called Descender. He created the album in a month because he was held up with the Miike Snow Tours.
A year later, Andrew Wyatt performed a duet with a Greek singer, Monika, in the album Secrets In The Dark. Later, in 2015, he collaborated with Flume in his track, Some Minds. In 2017, he co-wrote Chinatown, First Time, Wall Of Glass, and Heaven.
